It can also be a great way to improve your mental—and even physical—health. We'll get to the "how" of meditating in a second, but let's start with the "why." Meditation has been practiced for millennia, most notably in Hindu and Buddhist traditions, and can be understood as one part of a larger cultural, social, and spiritual whole. In recent years, as versions of this practice became popularized in the west, the benefits of meditation have become something of a hot topic in scientific research as well. What we're finding is that meditating can make you feel better, calmer, etc., while you're doing it, but its positive effects on your health also last far beyond your individual meditation sessions. As Psychiatric Research Magazine put it, meditation is "associated with changes in gray matter concentration in brain regions involved in learning and memory processes, emotion regulation, self-referential processing, and perspective taking." In other words, with a practice of just a few minutes a day, after just a couple months, meditation literally changes and strengthens those parts of your brain that contribute to your mental well-being.And those are just some of the mental effects.According to the Mayo Clinic, meditation also can help people manage symptoms of physical conditions such as asthma, heart disease, high blood pressure, chronic pain, and sleep problems. We're not implying that it should take the place of traditional therapy or medicine, and you may want to talk to your healthcare provider about the pros and cons of meditation in your particular case… ...but in general, meditation can definitely be a positive contribution to greater health. So, what exactly is meditation? Well, it's kind of an umbrella term for different techniques that have the goal of achieving a greater sense of inner peace. There are numerous ways to meditate, but the kind of meditation we'll be covering today is super simple and accessible, and has arguably been the most rigorously tested in the West: Mindfulness Meditation.Mindfulness Meditation was popularized by the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction courses created Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn.To quote the good doctor, “Mindfulness is awareness that arises through paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgmentally.It’s about knowing what is on your mind.” Put another way, mindfulness isn't about doing away with all thought, but about having a calmer, more compassionate relationship with the thoughts you have. So, how exactly does it work? First, it's best to do it daily, and when starting out you may want to begin with a modest amount of time, such as ten to twenty minutes. There are also apps, such as Headspace, that you can use to guide you through your mindfulness session. But if you want to go it alone, that's also totally cool! Here's how you can do it, to paraphrase a guide from Mindful.org: 1) Set a timer for how long you'd like to meditate.2) Take a seat.It doesn't have to be anything special, just a stable, solid seat.3) Notice what your legs are doing. If you’re on a cushion, cross your legs comfortably in front of you.If on a chair, it’s good if the bottoms of your feet are touching the floor.4) Straighten—but don’t stiffen— your upper body.5) Let your hands drop onto the tops of your legs.6) Drop your chin a little and let your gaze fall gently downward. You may close your eyes, though it's not necessary. If you keep them open, maintain a nice soft gaze in front of you.7) Feel your breath as it goes out and in: the air moving through your nose and mouth, the rising and falling of your belly, and your chest. With each breath, mentally note “breathing in” and “breathing out.” 8) Inevitably, your attention will leave the breath and wander to other places. This is normal.Instead of wrestling with or engaging with those thoughts, practice observing without needing to react.Just sit and pay attention. Then gently come back to your breath over and over again without judgment or expectation.9) Practice pausing before making any physical adjustments, such as scratching an itch. When you do move, do so with conscious intention, allowing space between what you think and what you do.10) When your time is up, gently lift your gaze or open your eyes.Take a moment to notice your environment: sounds, sights, how your body and mind feel.Decide how you’d like to continue on with your day.And that's all we have for you today! It still works.Blizzard Entertainment (henceforth “Blizz”) defines Nerfed as Still Useful.2.) Click a couple times if you don’t find a group immediately, jeez. 3a) More groups are available to hop to if QQ Noobies realm hop in zones that have available Emmisary Quests or Legion Invasions.3b) If an emissary quest is up, that’s where you should farm that day.By viewing this video, you agree to: like, comment, and subscribe to Reckles. This is a joke. And, like, not binding. And stuff.Alright, we’re going to start off with Skinning, because it’s my favorite profession in legion. The best spot for stonehide ...leather Oi! Mam8 said you’re wrong. You get more leather frough the Look, dave, we’ve got a lot of information to get through, I really have to go fast, and I just don’t have time for your crap today alright? So, I need you to just trust me.Farming things in wow is literally my job.And any of the routes out there, I’ve tested each of them for at least three hours each, BUT if you want to double check my work or see any of the details in those videos, I've got links to em all down in the description so feel free to go check em out and if you’re looking for where to go for only one specific item, I've got timestamps down there too.Is that alright? Kittens Can’t Twerk Alright, should be smooth sailing from here. For Stonehide Leather, you want to go kill Young Bloodgrazers in Northwest Azsuna. If the World Quest “Bloodgrazer Swarm!” is up, you can just hang out on this tiny little beach. If it isn’t up, there are a bunch of packs all over the place.Just run around and AoE.If the world quest reward is a bunch of AP and the emissary is up, there just gonna be a ton of people here. You can just stand in between 3 packs and throw out your mother’s skinning knife nonstop. That's actually faster and gets you more leather. For Stormscale, you want to go to Highmountain and skin crabs in Shield’s Rest, along the coast. There’s a pack of 12 grouped up right next to a tired ole Sea Skrog. As soon as you kill and skin them, server hop and everything will have respawned.Just rinse repeat until your bags are full.Alright, on to tailoring. The best method for cloth farming is still 5 man kobald farming.Just east of Skyhorn, in Highmountain, there's this little kobald graveyard.Have a tank and DPS hang out by the graves, and have 3 other people run around by the cave and the embankment, gathering up enemies and just bringing them back to your tank. For tailors, this yields between 1,000 and 1,500 cloth an hour.More if your friends are nice and chip in a little of their spare cloth. If you’re solo, one of the Suramar storyline quests is called “The Full Might of the Elves.” This leads you on an invasion into Suramar city. After you kill the first big group, run out of the city, abandon your quest, and talk to that jerk Khadgar to do it again. You can expect 700-1000 cloth an hour depending on your AoE dps.And then if you’re solo and have already completed that quest, I don’t know man, go kill some murlocs in azsuna or something. You missed out.Alright, cooking! I’ve known a few people who have gold capped from cooking alone. It’s not my favorite profession, but if you sell this stuff on raid nights and you’re looking at an easy 50-100k profit. For Lean Shanks, the best spot is Feathered Prowlers in Azsuna. These are like the Lothian prowlers, but they're feathered. It's at the coordinates 64, 21.Run between the trees and pull everything you can hit, AoE, Loot, Server hop.Do it again.II have skinning, so I procced extra Lean Shanks but you can expect about 100 every 3-5 minutes. For Fatty Bearsteak, there’s a rock right next to the stormheim bear elite, murderheimen.Gather all the bears up around the rock, AoE, loot, and server hop.Don’t waste your time killing murderheimen, but he does drop the recipe for bear tartare if you don’t have that yet.The best enemies for Wildfowl eggs are the Young Bloodgazers, the same from the Stonehide Leather spot, but Cove Ravens are pretty amazing too. They’re located at 56, 22 on the sunken ship in Stormheim.Super easy farm, just clear the ship out and server hop.Rinse repeat. Now, Big gamy ribs drop off large deer, elderhorn, any other moose-type creatures, so naturally we’re going to Suramar and we're gonna kill some porcupines. The Suramar Cliffquill and Leytouched cliffquill tend to evade easily, but if you stand at 29.1, 89.3 there are 10 of them within 40 or 50 yards, so you can easily round them up, kill, loot, and server hop to the next pack. For Leyblood, the Wyrm Cave in Azurewing Repose is fantastic. This was nerfed after my first video. They just no longer instaspawn whenever you kill em, but you can still server hop here without a problem. Each pull yields 30 to 50 leyblood. If you’re ever in the area, clear it out real quick. Also, Brewmaster monks are godly here with their ox statue.Get boon of the bloodhunter from the Wardens Quartermaster and just kill shit. You gotta be exalted even on your alts though.:( At this point in the expansion, the best mining results in legion don’t actually come from mining ore deposits or seams. If you’re over 860 ilvl, they come from living felslate and living leystone.Essentially killing creatures and skinning them for ore. This can feel inefficient though because at rank 1 and rank 2, you only have a 10% drop chance on ore from minable creature. At rank 3 though, that jumps up to over 100%.For felslate, we’re farming the felfire basilisks in felsoul hold. There’s a pack of 6 located in the northwest corner.Round them up, kill them, server hop, and they’re all back up.With my 870 druid, I’m able to get about 600 an hour. For leystone, you want to farm lagoon basilisks in Azsuna. There’s a pack of 10 that you can hop around for exclusively if you have enough available servers. If groups are sparse, you can do three pulls along the beach, and this also ensures that nothing evades. Before Legion Flying, farming Fjarnskaggl in Stormheim was super annoying to farm and the only way to do it efficiently was to do cheesy strats like standing stationary in the middle of this patch of five nodes and server hopping. Now it’s much more efficient to do a normal route from weeping bluffs, around the big statue, down to the big boat, and back to weeping bluffs.Server hop after each lap so everything can respawn and you’ll get 50-100 herbs per lap.Another annoying herb before legion was Aethril. The routes the same, just follow the road in a big loop and with flying, it doesn’t take 12 minutes anymore. With a server hop after each lap and rank 3 aethril, I can consistently get 150 herbs per lap and each one takes 8 minutes without the glove enchant, and 6 minutes optimized.Yah, that little bell that just went off in your head? Go ahead and do the gold per hour math. The only viable way to farm dreamleaf is by killing Vilepetal rooters outside the Emerald Nightmare instance. At rank 3 dreamleaf, they have a 100% chance to drop 4 to 16 herbs each. There are 3 places you can pull 4 to 5 of them at a time, and then you server hop.Avoid the big stompy guys.Flying doesn’t really help here.Farming foxflower is super easy with flying though.Head to shipwreck cove and fly from one end to the other.Hop.Fly back.Hop again.Starlight Rose is the most relaxing herb to farm now because you can pretty much just go anywhere and you’ll hit an herb within 5 seconds. There’s not really a route anymore.I like consistency though so I still follow my old route that looks like a bone. http://howto-base.life/howtos/How-to-FARM-EVERYTHING-in-Legion/356 Reference/Education How To Check Your iphone is Fake or Real ?Fake iPhone 6- How To Identify? tsp. of white distilled vinegar, and what the vinegar is going to do is it is going to react with the milk and cream and it is going to ferment it, and it is going to thicken it up, and sour it, pretty cool, put it in there. And now I am going to put the lid on, and we will just give it a good shake, so it gets all mixed around, you don't want to shake it too much, because you don't want it to turn into butter or anything. And then, what I want to do, is I want to take a nice clean cloth, and put it over it, and then we want to attach the top of this with a rubber band, or you could use some twine, or rope, or like a string or something, just to keep the top in place. Now we just let this sit at room temperature, for 24 hours.Once it has thickened up, we are going to go ahead and take the top off here, all right, great.Smells nice and good, what you will see here is it got nice and thick on top, and then down below, it will be a bit watery so it separated, so all we have to do is take a big spoon here, we will come in here, oh nice and thick, and we will stir it all together, and then what I am going to do, is I am going to just go ahead and transfer it over, look at that. There you go awesome thick homemade sour cream. Now this wont be as thick as you would buy traditionally at a store like in the States, because they add some artificial thickeners, and things like that to it, but this is just a pure sour cream, amazing. All right and that is how you make homemade sour cream, really easy to do, you can also add lemon juice as well, if you don't have vinegar, like two tsp. two and a half tsp.of lemon juice, or a combination of the two, half and half, then what you do is you take this and store it in the refrigerator, for up to a week, and you just use this for whatever recipe that calls for sour cream, use this. One thing we use to do as kids, is we would take strawberries, whole strawberries, and dip them in the sour cream and then dip that in the brown sugar; it made a really good treat.Yeah, so there you go, I am Matt Taylor this has been another episode of In the Kitchen with Matt, thank you for joining me, as always if you have any questions or comments, put them down below and I will get back to you as soon as I can, thumbs up, down in the corner push it, don't forget to subscribe to my channel and check out my other videos, take care. http://howto-base.life/howtos/How-to-make-Sour-Cream---Easy-Homemade-Sour-Cream-Recipe/647 Reference/Education HOW TO DANCE AT AN AFRICAN PARTY! http://howto-base.life/howtos/HOW-TO-DANCE-AT-AN-AFRICAN-PARTY!/648 Reference/Education كيف تصنع محتوى لليوتيوب؟ #ShogsThoughts in the following minutes I will share with you how I create my content in the last video I talked about looking for ideas this video will talk about what comes after usually content creation will follow one of three different scenarios 1) working on a set idea then I film to support the idea in my mind if you watch the previous video and watch this too you will notice that all the footage that I have used are the same in 3 videos however, each video has its own theme and with different ideas those videos were a challenge to me to create different content from the same footage (like a sandwich) I hope you like the idea because I enjoyed the challenge but usually, ideas develop after I film the footage and based on that I tell you what came to mind and in the worst situations, I see people with videos and ideas and I am lost without anything that is clear one of the things I learnt from my youtube journey the best way one can share their ideas is though story telling for their audience which will make them remember the story and if there was a lesson, it will stick in their minds at the same time it's important to grab the attention of your audience from the first moment to the last one way to do that is by "watch till the end for an important announcement" and if you want to build your channel, benefit from others experiences and work with them on video collaborations I have met 30+ youtubers from different backgrounds and I learnt something new from everyone I sat with by the end of the day, content creation is one way to express ourselves its nice to have a huge audience watching but what is better is to create something we love and are happy with it "do you know this song?" who are your favorite content creators? and what do you think makes them special? share your thoughts in the comments don't forget to like and subscribe and I'll see you in the next video! http://howto-base.life/howtos/كيف-تصنع-محتوى-لليوتيوب؟-#ShogsThoughts/649 Reference/Education 🌱바질페스토 만들기 🥖 how to make Basil Pesto 이제이레시피/EJ recipe These are my basil leaves that I grew at home Since it grew up too much I will try basil pesto recipe today.Cut fresh basil leaves and wash it with clean water then Drain the washed basil leaves on paper towels To add more savory and nutty flavor, roast pine nuts in a dry frying pan I will grate cheese to use for recipe ingredient Put basil leaves, pine nuts, 3 to 4 cloves of garlic, some olive oils and cheese powder in the food processor and finely grind it.Then put it in the bottle which was cleaned in boiling water.I personlly like basil pesto with toast the most So I ate it with toast Pizza and pasta with basil pesto are also great :) You may want to make basil pesto at least once ! creased petals. There's a lot of detail to capture in those petals - and the challenge is getting a balance between painting that detail in - and also using the paint to achieve the 3D form of the petals themselves.Let me show you how I tackled it: I used a photo as my reference and flipped my paper around to make it easier to paint.I began with a really detailed drawing adding in some of the darkest creases in the petals with my pencil. After adding a few pale colours to the flower centre I used a super watery orange wash to lay down across the petals, trying to match to the very lightest tones that I could see in those petals, and using a small brush to carefully go around the detailed centre of the flower.Once that was dry I applied the darkest tones within the petals - using thick red paint and a small brush so I could create neat lines.I then added more orange to the mix to lighten it a fraction and worked on painting in the next darkest creases and darker patches of colour - feathering the edges of those darker shapes with my brush wherever a fairly smooth transition into lighter colours around would be needed.By this stage I've established the upper and lower limits of the petal's tonal range which means it looks way too high contrast at this stage but actually makes it a lot easier to now go in and work on the midtones.I began with the darker midtones - concentrating on where they meet up with the darkest tones I'd just painted. The mix is more watery to create a slightly lighter colour and I apply it with a larger brush - working over and into the transitions into the darkest tones, which have now totally dried off. Then I applied it further out into new lines and shapes which are this dark in tone. It's all these detailed line markings which give the papery effect to the petals. But of course the contrast levels at this point are way too strong and we need to tackle that by working on the lighter midtones.I watered the mix down to lighten it and also added some yellow paint which had the effect of lightening it more as well as giving it a more yellow glow.I applied this everywhere this colour or darker - holding off from any areas I thought might be lighter and creating the angular shapes I could see in the reference photo as I painted.Once that was dry I used another layer of the same mix to concentrate on the transitions into the darker tone areas to smooth them and make them more graduated.Already by this stage the petals are starting to take on some 3D form. And with all this midtone work complete I could now tell that the lightest tones I'd painted initially were too light in all but a few places. So next I used a bigger brush and worked on the lightest tones again with a watery orange wash. With the layers underneath dry I could apply this on top of the papery line markings I'd made without loosing those markings underneath.Once that layer had dried, I could now tell that my darkest tones needed darkening some more to be brought back in balance so I began my first round of tonal adjustments, using a smaller brush to add another layer to the darkest tone areas. And then another layer to the to the darker midtones again, I then added more yellow to my more watery mix to add another layer to the mid midtones to darken them and also correct the colour here. With that dry I added extra line details with a smaller brush to increase the papery effects. After darkening the flower centre it was more obvious that the petals needed more unifying so I again used a more yellow orange, fairly watery mix, to apply with a bigger brush over larger areas of the lighter tones within the petals - wherever I felt they should be darker, being gentle with my brush so as not to interfere with the line details I'd painted underneath. This had the effect of solidifying the petals. Then finally once that had dried off I added a few more line details with the small brush to make sure the creased, crinkled petal effects effects looked spot on.A full step by step tutorial of this papery orange Poppy is available now in my online School If you've enjoyed this tip video, please subscribe to my YouTube channel and I'd love it if you'd share this video with your friends. And if you'd like to take one of my tried and tested step-by step tutorials for free, hop on over to AnnaMasonArt.com where you'll find even more resources to help you pick up your brush and paint the way you've always wanted to.Remember, you won't improve your painting unless you make the time to paint. So be sure to schedule in some me-time this week and paint something you love. Thanks so much for watching and I'll see you soon with another tip for creating watercolours with 'wow'. http://howto-base.life/howtos/How-to-paint-realistic-papery-poppy-petals-in-watercolor-with-Anna-Mason/651 Reference/Education Windows 10 Actvator How To activate Windows 10 WINDOWS 10 ACTIVATOR http://howto-base.life/howtos/Windows-10-Actvator-How-To-activate-Windows-10/652 Reference/Education
